These are a few collages done over the last year, as I have just recently set up my scanner. Most that I've done are too large to scan, so unfortunately I don't have a lot show until I make some more smaller than 8 1/2" x 11". More artwork to come, all across the board!
Some old photos just scanned, taken mostly with my now lost Holga (RIP). A batch of collages being scanned and on their way! Also, please note: I'll be showing some photos at a show at a friend's house in Berkeley, CA on December 4th! Details on the way. Thanks for looking!
This second round of photos are some highlights from a few rolls I just shot with my Grandfather's EX Auto Canon SLR that I have inherited along with other assorted personal items (Elk's Lodge fez, photos, etc). He brought it on his travels and took some really interesting pictures in Japan with it. It has his last name, Ansdell, as well as his phone number and the date of purchase (Oct. '75) etched into the bottom. Happy to be keeping his interests and possessions afloat and in use so many years later--I even occasionally watch movies on VHS tapes that he made recording films from TV mostly of the War and Western genres when staying at the family beach house. Feels good to reconnect, recycle, and, not to mention, this camera's aesthetic is the bomb diggity! Holga meets SLR!
